Toyanne and Ruger were not a match made in heaven, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where not many love stories like theirs come from. For what it was worth it was authentic and their relationship was well respected, and at one point rooted in loyalty and love. It became legendary when she helped him escape his prison sentence after attending a funeral. Unfortunately, an act of the ultimate betrayal caused them to split and go underground.
An event that could expose them both leads Ruger to Atlanta many years later standing over the love of his life in a hospital bed after a bad accident as her next of kin and caregiver. Soon after Toyanne is back on her feet, a life-or-death event demanded she must return home. This conflicts with Ruger who has proven that he will kill anybody that jeopardizes his freedom. While apart, Ruger knew there was much to be known about his wife as they are affiliated with the same people; not only was she a true rider, but also a big gangster and knew he was up against a hefty task.
Two people who had once shared a deep love for one another had turned into an odd couple who play street love games to get revenge. Will Toyanne forgive Ruger? Will she go back home even it means putting her own freedom at risk?
